McKenzie-van Rijn is a newly established partnership which is unique in the UK market place, as it has local expertise provided
by McKenzie and global access to a vast array of produce supplied by Dutch specialist van Rijn.

With the constantly changing needs of our customers, we aim to provide a stable range of core products and services that will allow them to meet the demands
of the ever-evolving tastes and eating habits of the UK.

With three generations of local and national expertise, we aim to provide
the very best in quality seasonal fruit and vegetables fresh from Scotland, Holland and Europe. Located at the heart of Glasgow’s Fruit and Vegetable Market we are perfectly placed to service the requirements of customers throughout Scotland and the UK.

Our Philosophy

Fresh produce is our passion and with a daily supply from the UK and Europe we aim to be a key supplier of fresh produce throughout Scotland, offering the year round availability of:

Within our stance at the Glasgow Fruit Market, we keep an extensive range
of other produce including specialty salads, Asian vegetables and exotic fruits. We believe that we can provide our customers with the best quality fruit and vegetables available in the wholesale market today.

We go to enormous lengths to find the best, freshest and most seasonal fruit and vegetables. We pride ourselves in being able to meet the logistical challenges of delivery throughout Scotland anywhere on the same day.

We are particularly devoted to sourcing locally-grown produce; for example Scottish strawberries. This supports local farmers and food producers
and allows us where possible to reduce our company’s carbon footprint.

At McKenzie-VanRijn we strongly believe that our customer’s choice should be as informed as possible, so we are always available to speak to and inform our customers on a wide range of products, logistics and seasonal advice.

• A seasonal variety of produce is available daily in our stance.
• Specialist items are available to our customers. These items
  can be requested to order; they are usually available for delivery
  the following day.
